Default FS: Quad 405-2 net audio modded.

I bought this from Andrew (Rexton) over Christmas. It's been fully modded by net audio. Only reason I'm selling is because I've now decided to go back to a valve power amp so it's back up for sale. I'll admit it sounds very good indeed and I thought it was a keeper but I miss the warm glowing tubes.

I want back what I paid so £350 delivered.

bargain alert! This looks to be the full monty 405-3 with new boards and dual mono power supply. I have one and it cost more than this to get my amp converted, let alone the cost of the 405-2.

Sorry I’m not buying but I had a Net Audio modded 33/303 a few years back and it was very good. I understood that the man behind Net Audio (whose name I have forgotten) had died. Has someone else taken on the business?

Good luck with the sale. Looks like a bargain for someone.

Here's a picture Andrew (Rexton) uploaded when I bought it. It saves me stripping it from the rack to take another.
    Hope it helps.
