There's a difference between discussing something and actually doing it. As far as I know AoS does not currently have an operational eugenics program.

Objecting to a controversial subject being discussed is just another form of political correctness and, by extension, thought control.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Cheers, mate. You've got to take some risks in life, if you want to achieve anything worthwhile, as continually playing safe only gets you so far. "Planting seeds", as you put it, is also very important, especially when you're young, as so often the tendency is to 'worry about the future later', and put off saving or making any long-term plans.

However, as we all know, time flies, and sooner than you think, being 25 becomes 45, then 55, and with no proper plan in place for the future and simply muddling along in a daily rut, when the time comes to retire, and with no longer any regular income, you won't have much to look forward to but the pittance of a state pension!

It's no fun being poor, at any age, but especially when you're old. If you're at all smart, with a bit of gumption, hard work, common sense and some luck, you won't be.

Wow, that's a tough one to take, and I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that 2019 brings you rather more joy, peace, good health and happiness.

Less cruel is to encourage people with talent to breed together, in the hope that the progeny will have even greater talents.
You missed out the word 'forlorn' before the word 'hope'.

I sympathise. We lost the wife's mother and my adored dog died within days of each other recently.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yes. It's not good when somebody decides what others can discuss and becomes self appointed arbiter. If they don't like a topic, best they move on. I'm not aware that anybody has advocated anything offensive or illegal.
