Raspberry pi and the delights of invisible media!

I wish I had left alone!
Wasted an evening trying to get a second Pi working with Openmediavault, gave up and have sent that back. Faffed around trying a 128GB SD card and can't get the Pi to boot with it, in the meantime now my Pi won't load my USB stick!
Now all I can source is Tidal and that works perfectly!
Maybe I should just forego £20 a month for simplicity and an unlimited music library!

Well that was a performance trying to get it all to work with picoreplayer just couldn't get it to output any sound with it.

Got fed up and slapped on max2play and worked 1st time!

SQ is certainly very impressive!

I'm using an ifi power plug for the rpi and a LDA LPSU for the Boss.

I wonder if it will improve further with a little use?

Hmm, I want to try omv but I am not sure I'd get it working either lol.

Definitely. The clock gets more accurate with hours put into it. No idea why but that's what I read.

Allo also recommend two weeks solid listening before it's fully burned in.

My Pi, Allo Boss and related bits and pieces were supposed to arrive today -- well, that didn't happen because DPD screwed up the delivery, as usual.

The thrill of putting together the kit reminds of my mechano days and the SQ is very very good!
