I know I say this every time you post a pic Stuart but of all the amazing systems we see pics of yours is the one I’d like to hear most. Just lovely.

    Thanks everyone
Unfortunately it’s no where near as tidy as this now , Im running out of storage space for the vinyl , 10’ Reels take up loads of space and I’ve now got my guitars and amps in here too
I’m the first to admit it’s a mess BUT it’s my mess and l love chilling out in here

Charlie, Al ,Alan and the late Stewart Emmings . Reading all your posts about R2R years ago got me started on this journey when I was quite happy with my vinyl ,valves and horns . It’s amazing when you think your system can’t sound any better then you hear a master copy on a studio R2R , I was hooked after hearing Stewart’s system in the Lodgesound room at Scalfold and there’s not much i that I can add to what’s already been said about the APR5003v imho I think it’s up there with the best studio machines , simply stunning

I can think of a few expletives right now, none of them nice

    Jealous, me ?

Bloody right I am, what a setup

I bet the guitar isn't just for show either

Thanks For the nice comments Marco,Brian & mike
It’s taken a long time to get it sounding good ,well to my ears at least in this room . It’s not exactly an ideal space with high ceilings, one wall nearly all glass with the large bay windows and wooden floors to top it off
The DSpeaker antimode helped sorting out some bass issues , I was never a believer in adding any digital correction to my system but it really worked for me in this space
I might upgrade the turntable setup at some point in here but for now I’m going to concentrate on setting up a second system in the living room going down the classic tried and tested Tannoy, Garrard, Thorns, Radford route ......wish me luck !!!!
I’m in no rush so I’ll wait for the bits that I really fancy to come up in the classifieds , I’ll update the thread as I gather the gear .....this may take some time
