I'm surprised no one has thought to make a 2-month advent calendar...

One of the houses on our street has its tree trimmed up and lit up in their window. Been there since Monday

It's your house, isn't it, Steve.

'One of the houses on our street', indeed - who do you think you are fooling?

I can see why you might think that - I just didn't bother taking it down last year I really don't make much of an effort decorations-wise, but I may allow Mrs. P to put a snow globe on the speaker, as long as it's on a coaster.

You and me both; tried a few different ones (Booths, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Aldi) and the Aldi ones are the best IMO

There's a few houses not far from us already trimmed up and with their bloody tree up already too

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas, but at Christmas, not half a month beforehand!
