    Default Exposure XM5 Integrated

Had an Exposure 2010S2 earlier in the year and quite rather enjoyed it's performance. Like a Nait 5i, but with added refinement.

Possibly thinking about on seeking out for second hand XM5 someday. Love the old style shoe box look and smaller footprint.

    Anyone heard one?

My son’s buying a secondhand one later this week. I’ll let you know what I think!

Yes, I had one for a coupe of months. Typically Exposure and performs somewhere between 2010s2D and 3010S2D, as you might expect.

Limited inputs though, particularly line (only one, plus an AV bypass [so watch out for that!].

It's a good package, but a bit pricey at full RRP. Even relatively new ones struggle to make 50% when used. Frankly, I'd be tempted to save a tad more and go for the 3010s2D

May I ask what speakers did you use?

Hi! I have a 2010S2. Would this be an upgrade even with the lower power? What about the DAC? Is it good?

Yes, I have. You should have kept your Rega Brio-r.

So??... why should’ve he kept the Brio-R?

I actually went from a Brio-R to the 2010S2 and while the Exposure is the better amp, there are things that the Rega did better. Their presentation is quite different, being the Rega much brighter than the Exposure.
