    Default Hello from KJF audio

    Hi all,

I run KJF audio and actively post in quite a few forums. I've not ever posted here before but like a lot of folk I've read some of the posts over the years and enjoyed it very much. Even with the state of some of the turmoil at other fora over last few years AoS seems to have remained steadfast.

Some of you will know me already from those other forums or from dealing with me through buying drivers or speaker kits in the past. I've not posted here purposely before as I know a couple of the member do speaker building for members, including the Frugel-Horn. As that is my bread and butter I didn't want to stand on anyone's toes

Any way time to join up and try and post here and there.

    Stefan

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Hi Stefan and welcome.
I've bought a few things from Stefan over the years, Alpair drivers and speaker building accessories and always had first class and friendly service.

    Cheers, Ian

    Hi Stefan. Welcome to AOS.

Speaker building is popular, so your input will be appreciated.

Please join in any discussion that interests you and start your own blog if you like.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Hi Geoff,

    Thanks for the welcome

Yes, I'll help out where I can. As folk know from my website, I mainly sell full range drivers but am happy to join in any conversations about speakers.

Not sure how to start my own blog here but I'll look into it. Also I've not read your T'sand C's yet so not sure how far I'm allowed to go with talking about my own commercial projects? For example I've got a new amp on Kickstarter, am I allowed to tell folk a bit about that?
