I'm Adam.
I spoke to Stan on the phone on Monday morning. He replied to an email I sent on Tuesday.
Stan offers a great service.
Just got my SEG upgraded with Super Cap Mod + Clock Mod + SEG-30 firmware + Dorado
...listening to it now for the first after leaving it to cook for 6 hours playing Radio 3 with the volume off...
Got Love & Money's "Strange Kind of Love" CD on - sounds blood marvellous!
Stan even put a free black volume knob (like the latest SEGs) on at my request (looks better with my all black kit).
Stuff is sent so fast in the post (even at Xmas) and all beautifully packed...
...I'm one very happy customer!

Hi,
Just to quash concerns.
I too, was worried about something. I established contact around 1600hrs today. From the jist of the communication, he has a fair workload on his bench and is industriously beavering away to complete work that's there.
I'm sure he will pop his head above the parapet when he gets 5 mins to himself.
Can't think of any other producers that are that committed to customer satisfaction and product development.
So don't panic, he will sooth your fevered brow as soon as he can.
Unless it's a question that one of the learned members here can assist you with ?

Huge - the system sounds leaner due to quality of the bass extension.
The bass was great before the mods (but maybe a tad bloatier).
Now everything sounds so clean.
The sound stage seems to have opened up as well.
Burn in is important though - give it a few hours before listening.

As long as he is okay, I emailed him on Sunday morning, and haven’t heard anything, which is unusual for Stan.
I’ll leave it that, it’s not urgent.
