    I'm Gary.

Default I'm going to be rich

    And here's how.

A few things occurred to me regarding the world of hifi.

It has, compared to most hobbies a vast amount of foo and snake oil products.

Many people believe the more something costs the better it is.

If somebody gets ripped off they're unlikely to admit it and will defend their purchase to the death.

Lastly, and most importantly, lots of audiophiles use blutac for a variety of purposes.

So here's my plan, I buy loads of packs of blutac and rebrand it as "audiophile grade vibration damper and anti-slip putty" and sell it for £25 per pack for low grade, £50 for high end and £100 for reference quality. (obviously it's all the same but people are happy to pay more if they think they're getting the best)
All that's needed is some good reviews in the hifi press (again the high price and foo pseudo science on the packaging will guarantee this) and I'm rich.

PS. 10% discount for AOS members
    Marantz CD63 KI Signature
    Project Debut II
    Pioneer A656 Reference
    Epos M5s
    Atacama Stands
Maplin speaker cable cos I can't hear a difference
    Various interconnects as above

    Hmm.
The range only goes up to Reference?
My system obviously deserves better than that.
How much for 10 packs of Reference Plus?

    You could re-package this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Mortite-...ortite%7D%3Aqu

Chop it up into say 2" strips and charge £2 apiece. Of course the 'standard', 'high end' and 'reference' versions would need to be a different colour.

I am planning to offer bespoke versions at a guide price of approximately 10-20% of the cost of your system

Personally I think sound absorbing crystals strategically positioned in the corners of the room hung on elegant strands is the way to go. These will stop unwanted sound reflections. Easy and cheap to make and can sell as an ornament for the wife. You can market various version in size and crystal quality, and made from different materials for different effects. In fact I think its so good I put it up on crowd funding.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

The mistake you're making is that you're explaining what they do, the tactic is to advertise it making no claims as to what the procuct actually does or how it achieves it. This protects you from trading standards
