    I'm Philip.

Default I have hifi to sell but I don't know what it might be worth

As per the title - I have a hifi system which I need to get rid of, though I have no idea what it might be worth:

    We have

    A&R EB101 Turntable

Exposure VII & VIII Pre/power combo

    Ruark Talisman Mk 2s

    Rega Planet CD player

I suspect the amps maybe worth a few quid, though there's very little out there to go on. The Ruarks must be worth a couple of hundred, maybe the Rega too, not holding my breath on the turntable.

Does anyone know where I might get an unbiased and honest idea as to whether I'm sitting on the automotive equivalent of a blower Bentley or a rusty Austin Allegro?

    Thanks - Philip

But not in the Welcome area. Opinions of worth are best sought via a new thead in the Blank Canvas section.

    Anyway, welcome to AOS Philip.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AOS, Phillip.

I'd be interested in the Ruarks & Rega Planet if you can bring them over sometime early next year.
