The stick on damping sheet will help reduce panel vibration and the sculptured foam will reduce internal reflections and damp higher frequencies, but you will also need something else to tame the bass resonance. Teased long fibre wool is very effective.

Do a bit of Googling about speaker damping and you'll see what I'm getting at.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Ok, Paul hasn't said anything about that so I'll stick to what he's advising for just now.

Damn screws lifted the paint when coming out

You could ask Paul about what I suggested. He'll know what I'm getting at.

    Will do

    Second speaker de-foamed

If I had the bracing to hand I'd have them finished tonight, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Wooo, I do enjoy threads like this with lots of pictures.

Having heard the difference Paul's crossovers did for Adam's (westlower) Tannoys you are in for a massive treat.

Are you going to install new speaker connections to the cab or just wire them direct from the new external crossovers?

Thanks, I'm looking forward to finishing them.

I didn’t find they took any time to burn in at all.

Are you reinstalling the front to back brace?
