Thanks, I really enjoyed doing the work, which for someone who hates DIY was very satisfying.

I forgot to mention that I also added foam tape to the rear of the driver edges to cushion them against the baffle, I got the tape from Cooky last year when I had the drivers reconed but they were already back in the cabinets by the time the tape arrived.

So thanks for that Cooky, good to finally get it fitted

Hopefully in the next few days I'll be back to using my Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP power amp

Now you're asking, give me a minute or two and I'll try and find the model number, it's one of their Slimline AV amps.

    Edit:

    Marantz NR1603

Bought second hand to use alongside the HiFi so I could still run my projector and 7ft screen that drops down just above the HiFi unit

Thanks, Mike. Does the Marantz sound 'passable' for the money?

It actually does sound ok, I bought the Marantz for the height, it used to sit underneath the bottom shelf of the Ikea coffee table I was using for a HiFi unit up until I worked on the speakers.

Mind you I'm pretty sure when the Primaluna comes back I'll really notice how feeble the Marantz sounds in comparison, mind you it's shortcomings are more apparent when you start to push the volume

    Is it HiFi?

No but it's passable for background listening.
