I finally got RPi + Kali reclocker outputting using I2S into my Najda DSP XO DAC properly.
With good power clean Lan RPi has the measure of Chromecast Audio using Spotify on both.
I can honestly say, it's sounding so good I won't be continuing with Tidal..
There are more setting to tweak in PuTTY too..

Not convinced by a clean power supply to an Internet based source, I think the battery in my phone is fairly clean but can't speak for the miles of cabling before my router

I look at it this way.
The cabling to your router is handled by your ISP and the protocols used if high speed and stable are quite capable of supplying the bits reliably (with necessary error correction automatically done seemlessly), enough for HD TV, streaming music etc.. having a router near your HiFi on the same ring main with a switching mode PSU spitting noise out noise that other gear and the router had to deal with is a good thing to cut out.

Going forwards I'm sure we'll see more and more audiophile routers as we understand more about streaming. If it measures better and sounds better it's worth doing..

As I've done more of these things the happier I am with the sound..

Easy to go back and try without them to confirm (which I've done).

Then we'll need to fill our rooms with audiophile air so that wireless streaming isn't compromised by dirty air.

    Thanks for the recommendation
    Pleased your happy with it.

Did you set the SQ to the highest in Google Home App?

If or when you have a DAC you can run an optical cable from the CCA to DAC and get even better performance.

I believe ionising air filters are used by some. Possibly more in the US. I seem to recall seeing something about this, maybe targeted at reducing vinyl static though.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

    Air quality is bordering audiofool
It would be more the movement of air due to sound waves than radio though.
Perhaps the London smogs didn't sound great

Sounds like someone from ZZ9 plural Z alpha is going to be Terminated.

Is it obligatory to have a recognisable earthly address?
