Upgrading my Caiman to the New SEG from Stan, should be here by 1.00pm according to the Tracking Info, interested to see the difference? Ordered the China 15v Linear PSU to power it the one Stan linked to on ebay

You'll need to add the Dorado at some stage to unlock some of the updates that are there to produce an even greater improvement.

Well it arrived as promised via Royal Mail, initial impression was that I had to turn the bass down a tad, I've never heard my 9.1s with that low a bass?, time for a burn in and listen to the improvements which will follow, but even out the box I can detect its better than my original Caiman its replacing

Which psu is that? Will it work with the earlier Caimans?

Hi Dave it will work and I ordered the 15v one, only issue you'll have is the Caimen has a 3.5x1.3mm power plug and the new SEG has a 5.5x2.1mm power plug.

    PSU https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Finished-...53.m2749.l2649

The PSU info actually says 5.5x2.5mm plug either a misprint or easily sorted by a plug swap

You could use a DC plug Adaptor with a 5.5x2.1mm female to a 3.5x1.3mm male as here https://www.wifi-antennas.co.uk/2-1m...UaApRLEALw_wcB
This would enable you to use the Linear 15v PSU I bought to drive your Caimen
