    Thinking of layouts, the preferred one so far, as per previous builds the alu plate will act as a spacer under the extenders as they are not quir tall enough. I'll cut a couple of pieces off to go under them. Might use a bit for a heat sink on the MURs also if needed.

    I'd get the PCB closer to the back so you have room to add some heatsink to the MURs if necessary.

    Would it not be better to have the attenuator and the selector swapped over? Selector next to the inputs and volume next to the outputs?

    Yes ideally but the holes are marked vol and select so id like it to match. Won't matter too much once the lid is on.

    before drilling holes in anything decided to take advantage of my new virtual reality software (pencil) to test the placement of components so none obstruct the other. Good job too , some advantages to decorating a bedroom and having left over lining paper !
