Has anyone considered placing a fan equipped laptop computer cooling pad under a power amp? Assuming the amp has underside vents, this could work. No doubt it may be best for the cooling pad not to actually bear the weight of the amp directly, so equipment feet could be used to give clearance.

    This sort of thing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet-Lap...F4KASD38BX1C0Z

They are designed to operate quietly and are probably quite effective as laptops can get pretty hot.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

These are 500mm x 310mm at narrowest point. You’re welcome to them for cost of postage.

Ah, I see you're sorted. Offer open to anyone really, don't know whether they're big enough for Oli's Krell?

Doesn't your wife miss the cupboard doors?

    Oh!,

Well, if it is, thank you.

However, I do have a material in mind and could possibly get an offcut for free. So will decline for the time being.

You're more than welcome Oli, I'll stick them back in the cupboard for now then.
