It was just the wording of Dave’s comment that piqued my interest. I’ve never actually done the Croft thing so I’m definitely due.

Just doing some reading up on this amp and wondered if I could ask for som clarity on this post. Are you saying that the the original 5 was a much better amp Dave, and that this model was not entirely designed by Glen?

Things get a little vague. Glenn's 'distributor' took over and had products made which Glenn was not aware of. Very often they used inferior parts and were poorly made. Everything made by Glenn was and is excellent.
