    I bet someone like you who knows their onions may well get it working fine. Alas I dont, but it was supposed to be easy for beginners, and im a bit better than that and failed. Soul destroying these things.. its a shame as programs etc can be made to work easily which suggests they just expect a certain level of competence.

    Most everything has an embedded HTTP page - you should be able to track down the NAS IP address on your router by looking at connected devices, or you could try using a network sniffer app.

    Once found, reserve the IP address on the router, and go into NAS admin and make it a static address.

    Has that ok. Had the web up connected to it ok. It was mapping it that was one of the issues. Also when I used the drop function it dropped it but didn't upload actual music just file names. iPhone app wouldn't connect either.
    Just way to many issues for me to overcome

    Could be a permissions issue in the NAS admin page.
