    Default A noob intro

    Hi all

You’ve probably heard these intros a thousand times before so I’ll keep my brief. I have been an audiophile for for 35 years and and virtually back where I started with a turntable amp and speakers. The first system I built was a pair of acoustic Research 11s, a pioneer amp (can’t remember the code) and a Townsend Rock Elite. From there I have had a few other turntables including a Dual 505, 2 x technic 1210s and am now running a Rega planar 1 with add on pack. My music tastes are varied and include vinyl classics (police, Bowie, dire straits) a lot of reggae (dr alimentando, Gregory isaacs, John holt etc), 250+ cds but that’s another story.

I would like to post about my current system so see you in the posts section hopefully!

    Best
