Default 2001 A Space Odyssey 4K UHD Blu Ray

Possibly the best film ever produced on Blu Ray?

After watching the opening sequence and reading recent reviews maybe this is the one?

Seriously its my favourite film. I was taken to see it when I was tiny and too young to understand but it left a lifelong impression on me then. When I struggle to have memories I certainly remember seeing that for the first time.

A stunningly good film which I can take something new from every time I watch it. Well paced Very deeply moving and just stunningly good viewing!

    Kubrick was a brilliant director.

I would love to see it in the highest definition

Excellent film. I had the pleasure of seeing it on the big screen at the bfi Southbank a couple of years ago. The opening sequence was worth the price of admission. Awesome picture and sound

    Agree brilliant film.

I was lucky to see it in 70mm at Curzon Mayfair many years ago whose design really matches the 60's feel.

I see its being shown in 70mm next week at the Prince Charles Cinema. Might pop along.

been thinking for a while of getting a bluray version of this as my dvd is quite old. I dont have 4k so guessing its going to be wasted on a bluray player, but if it works i may get it as it has 3 discs

Only one question: does Miss Jones make the Director's Cut?
