What would it take to be able to post photos here without hosting elsewhere, on lenco heaven it's that simple, no need for hosting, just upload. Since the trouble with photobucket, so many old and current threads are ruined by the lack of photos.

I'm no expert, but I believe to do what you want would require a large (and expensive) increase in storage for the site.

No doubt Nick (beechwoods) will be able to explain.

I don't know about everyone else, but I would be happy to pay a small subscription (annually, monthly, whatever) for what is to me far more interesting than any of the crap on the telly.

Perhaps we could have a vote on this?

I'm for it, otherwise I just won't bother posting photos.

You can save a few pics here but usually best using a hosting company. Image shark charges but are very good.
If you have a phone you can just use tapatalk as it's easy and free to add pics of good sizes and quality

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

postimages.org is excellent; easy to use and free.

Really no point in this forum having to increase its cost base just for pictures, IMO.

I'll take that as a no then. Every site I've tried has been work. Post images, I think, was the the site where I wasn't sure if it posted or not, sometimes it did and other times it didn't, wasn't clear what I needed to do, hence I gave up posting pics.
