Lovely turntable, Mike - looks mint! I have fond memories of using one, during the 80s, to great effect.

It's worth every penny you're asking, even just for the arm, which I believe was made by Acos, and was certainly one of the reasons why the Sansui sounded so good, and IMO (with the right cartridge fitted) comfortably seeing off the Regas and entry-level Linns of the day! It would certainly outperform a lot of modern turntables.

TBH, the money you're asking is worth it for the arm alone, especially for our resident Denon DL-103 fans, as it would suit its sonic requirements to a tee! It's almost the perfect arm to make a 103 sing. Good luck with the sale

That would have been perfect for my son's first vinyl system if you were any closer to London, Mike!

Thanks guys. It’s almost a minter. Belt just fitted and the cart is only a week or so old. I know with a postage option it would go in a minute. Sadly turntables do not travel well.

Turntables would travel fine if the bozos handling them didn't stand on 'em, drop 'em, kick 'em, throw 'em, pile stuff on 'em etc. etc.
    But they do!!

Yes agreed, they must all train as baggage handlers in airports. Also found insurance worthless as they expect the article to be in original packaging.

Still up for sale. Well worth considering if you want to get into vinyl without a great outlay. The Sansui was very well respected in its day, plus good looks to go with it. May be in Harrogate area at the weekend 27/10.

Just tried this with a more upmarket cartridge and it really delivers, well worth an audition, the fitted cartridge is only 4 weeks old and the belt two weeks. Sorry can’t offer postage.
