    Default FS: Pioneer PL-12D + Shure M75ED - Serviced

In very nice condition, sounds and runs well.

Bearing cleaned and re-oiled, new belt and put on a genuine Shure M75ED T2 cartridge. Lid has usual cleaning swirls, but no cracks. Also has 45 rpm adaptor. There is a slight hum from the motor, when I place my ear next to it. I'll include a MKII manual which is applicable for this TT, just the front cover is different.

I have the original box so shipping is easy.

Since it has the Shure I am looking for £125 + postage or collection from Maidenhead

Nice looking pl12. It is surprising just how good these tts sound with real drive and a generous delivery. It is not hard to see/hear why it signalled the death of budget brit tables. The build quality is excellent and the arm is very low friction.

Nice deck and condition, to make even better, lid just could do with a polish.

I alway manage to make the lid worse than it really is. What would be the best way to polish it?

Decades ago I used Brasso and got a good result, however, I'm sure others might recommend something else.

Ah - the Pioneer PL12 with Shure M75ED cartridge. The classic choice in the '70s for those who couldn't afford the Linn, or didn't know about old Garrards, Lencos or Thorens TTs.

A fine combination and at a good price. GLWS

Excellent little turntable. I have one myself, also with an M75ED, sitting about six feet away from me right now.

Somebody should snap this up, nice examples are getting harder to find. These are a good honest product that just seem to last forever.

All they ever need is a drop of oil now and then and a new belt every five years or so.

Bought a new belt for mine a few weeks ago, drop of oil as you said.
