    myself and steve can do a blind test next saturday oli,infact id be very interested how my own cables fair.

    I've been using Silver Mogwai XLR cables for a couple of years (https://www.iglooaudio.co.uk/interconnect-cables.html). They're £95 for a 1m pair and very well constructed. I've never felt the need to try anything more expensive.
