I would of thought a perfect reason to stay home from work or other silly things, so she can spend plenty of time listening to those new panels! Right on, Bev! Hope the pain goes soon!

Toe is still pretty painful and with the boot on I can't drive so been relying on taxi's which is a nightmare but at least they are inexpensive here in Portsmouth

I've got an appointment at the fracture clinic next Thursday for a check up but to be honest I can't see me loosing the boot anytime soon

So I'm guessing you will be leaning against the wall for the rest of October!

Bone heals in 6-8 weeks, depending upon your health, immune status, skeletal health, and other things like drinking/smoking. Your already 10-15% healed. Make sure you have good bony alignment on the X-ray and ask about the possibility of it being pinned.

Thanks for the information Andrew. I will definitely ask them about the need for pinning it when I see them next week..

Do you think I could get rid of the boot next week and just let it heal for the 6-8 weeks without it ?
