    You can send voice messages instead of typing, handy for some I suppose, so it needs access to your mic for that.

    Lol - I'm not anti-tech, per se, just not a mobile phone/social media person, and I'll only invest in tech if, for me, it's *genuinely* useful. For example, now that I've got the new car stereo fitted, with a such an up-to-date Kenwood head unit, I'll now have to succumb to buying a smart phone, so I can pair it to the Kenwood and stream all sorts of music.

    I've resisted the temptation so far, simply because my lifestyle didn't warrant me owning a smart phone, but now it does...     Daughter sends me pics of the kids etc via this app. It's quick and easy and free. Not had any issues in Apple so far
