wecome , love those marantz sacd players
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

    Hi Steve

What sort of room do you have the home cinema in?

    Hello Steve. Welcome to AOS.

That's a fair collection of gear you have there. Do you have any changes in mind or is it all staying as is?

Feel free to join in any chat that interests you, everybody is friendly.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.

Yes , they’re extremely well built and sound great. Guess it’ll be the last cd spinner I’ll buy !

Hi Geoff , home cinema is in a room 35feet x 15feet . I’ve got rid of the screen and have painted one wall with Black Widow paint mix which I think works exceptionally well, and as a bonus has a high wife acceptance factor.

Gosh what a bad start. Last post was meant for Bill.

    Good morning Geoff,
For the moment I think I’m done, but we all think that till something new and shiny comes along ! Truth be told I’ve always lusted after a big McIntosh amp.

I reckon you'll have a few drooling over the Akai. Many tape fans here.

I’ve actually only just bought (eBay ) , all good but think it probably needs a good service. I wonder if anyone has any recommendations where to send it.

I’ve had quite a few Akai’s over the years and always regretted selling my last 625. There is something gently soothing about sitting in the dark with reels spinning and VU meters dancing, never tire of it.
