    Default Technics SL-1510MK2

    Hello,
I have seen one for sale, any good? I cannot seem to find a great deal of info on them.
I was thinking of something that I could tinker with and its for sale with some other gear.

Good for a 1st go at playing with TT's or not?

    Thanks

A decent deck yes, https://www.vinylengine.com/library/.../sl-1510.shtml but for tinkering I dont know.

Depends on to what extent you mean by tinker.

The SL12XX as you probably know have loads of tinker potential and possibilities if thats what you really want to get into.

Decent enough turntable, very nicely made. Probably best used as it is, apart from maybe a headshell upgrade. It should perform flawlessly and be very nice to use.

It's a very nice deck and will perform well. Use it and enjoy it - don't bugger around with it!
