AIWA AD6900k cassette deck.

This apparently legendary deck is I believe in need of a service, maybe new belts ?
The tape will start to turn but after about 2 seconds it switches off , I’m no expert so please decide for yourself what could be wrong .

I recently did the belts on a nak dr-2. Quite fiddly but keeping notes when diving in helps a lot. Very satisfying getting it going again.

Apparently cassette decks are all the rage these days. No I can't figure out why either.

The Aiwa deck looks the biz.

Seemingly this remote allows veils to be lifted, curtains to be removed, musicians to appear to be standing 8ft in front of you in your own room, epiphany moments to be received daily etc etc.

Never experienced it myself, but thats the inside info !!!!
