F/S Custom Built Home Studio Monitor with matching stands
A highly individual and much admired pair of HSM based on the Wilmslow design but with cabinets and stands built by a professional cabinet maker for his own use.
Drive Units are the highly rated Scanspeak D2905/9500 treble and the Volt BM 220.8 bass /midrange.
The speakers were very recently upgraded having all their Caps replaced with MUNDORF SUPREME and Atlas twin wired with Hyper 2 speaker cable. Inductors are from Volt.
The cabinets are larger than the original HSM as they have thicker walls with sand filled channels.
The veneers are hand cut 6mm radiused Sycamore edged in cherry and this is repeated on the matching stands.
The stands are of the same build and are sand filled,
The speakers I estimate are approx 30kg each and the stands 15kg+
