There's one available on gumtree in Clydebank, not too far for you to go and pick up. https://www.gumtree.com/p/other-ster...em./1316569017

Nearly 4 hour round trip to collect so unfortunately I've had to leave that one. Bargain too

If that was 230 to 230 Mike it’s an isolation transformer not a balanced one anyway mate

    Hi Dan,
These look really good and I’d be interested to know if you can build one more and what it would cost. At the moment I have a monster 5kva exBBC balanced mains unit. It’s huge in, in double insulated steel cases, but produces too much noise from transformer hum and twin cooling fans. Ideal for an outside broadcast recording studio, but not so good in my living room. I’d want schuko outlets, ideally all six balanced.
    Regards,
    Dom

If you a being troubled by DC on the mains, you can either use a DC blocker or a simple isolating transformer. There is no real need to use a 1:1 transformer with a centre tapped secondary
