Ocellias? Still available, currently at £5650 on another site!
" I can say that they easily trounced the models from Rethm, Zu and Audio Note I know, let alone those built around various Fostex, Feastrex and Lowthers drivers I've heard which couldn’t dream of the ultra-low coloration achieved by the PHY in this sophisticated an enclosure. I have also heard many horn-loaded speakers. With the notable exception of the very best Avantgarde, their midrange colorations made most of them sound like broken tin boxes by comparison." Frederic Beudot.

We should start a mutual admiration club?

Having sat in Chris's listening room in his wonderful suspended listening seat I can truly say that the Ocellias sound the Bee's Bollocks, if I had the room and the money I would snap them up, so if you are in that position do not hesitate!!

I am surprised Audio Al has not been tempted they could be the last speaker he ever purchased or listened to and then he could have a clear out.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

This is true if he bought them he'd be financially better off. In fact he could probably retire early on the proceeds of his equipment sale.

Al must be on my wavelength, as he was tempted by my Leak 3090s.***
But never underestimate the urge to accumulate?

Glad Adrian has good memories of the Calliopes. After a gap of a few weeks, I still get surprised by the quality of music they produce.
