i need to buy a replacement bulb, the original is a grain of wheat type,6v 35ma.
im having trouble buying a same spec bulb,i can get 6v but a lot are 60ma rating, can someone explain what the difference would be and if it will be ok to use ?

It will be a bit brighter, or rather more light output.
If it is enclosed in something then the 60mA might get too hot, if not enclosed you should be OK.
cheers alan,it has a rubber holder around the bulb so that might be a problem, and theres me thinking it would be easy to get a bulb!

Hi Jamie,
There is a shop in Canada that stocks 35ma bulbs, albeit that's a bit of a pain...but this one is pretty close:

You could always replace the other bulbs with a brace of these, if the brightness difference is an issue.
Lovely turntable - great purchase - looks minty mint
