Default Wtd balanced interconnects 1m - ish

I have just installed a Modwright pre-amp in my system which allows the use of balanced interconnects on both input and output. I have always used unbalanced RCA cables but just want to try a balanced cable to see if I can hear a difference.
Nothing crazily expensive please, this is just an experiment!

    Hi Geoff,
Around one metre, a little shorter would be Ok but I don’t really want more than 1.5m. My family originally came from Jersey - a few generations back.

Richard, u will need to find something as good as ur Oritons, a change for anything less than the same cable in balanced form really isn’t gunna reveal true back to back differences, but Mike doesn’t do an Orange DLR, so I’d suggest getting something g cheapest in rca and XOR form, test and go from there.

    All the best

    Hi Dan,
That’s a good point. The Oriton were the first cable to convert me from the sceptics! I have some cheap spare RCA cables in a drawer. I will try these against something balanced. Shame that Mike doesn’t offer a balanced cable. I may email him and see if it’s possible if I do notice a difference with balanced.
    Thanks for the input.

This company produce top quality cables at sensible prices. These are two options for you:

I have bought several cables from this place and here have always impressed. I would go for the second option. It is only slightly more expensive but is a quad design.

If you were looking for a cheap "suck it & see" option I think Jerry had some exotic Dutch one's that were about £30 IIRC. They should be half decent if they were in his system.
