Guys, let's leave it there please. Andre, sorry, but your posts there (and previously) were tantamount to thread-crapping, as Jamie is the OP. On these types of threads, where someone is showcasing their pride and joy, as it were, the rules are if you haven't got anything nice/complimentary to say, then say nothing.

And that applies to *everyone*. The thread has now been pruned accordingly. Play nice now, folks!

Thats lovely Jamie, did the ebony bend all on its own or did you heat/steam to persuade it?

I've resisted veneering my plinths, due to lack of workspace (done quite a lot professionally) but this has really inspired me, thanks for sharing

Jamie that is coming on well, nice job Your approach is similar to my first planned design which was actually for a Denon DP3000, then a TTS 8000. Yours should look very nice indeed..

12mm from memory, tinted so semi transparent. We use a fair amount of acrylic so no issue on cost..

Nice job mate, I was happy to get a nice edge on my veneer, I wouldn't have the confidence to then rout it for binding for fear of messing it up. When will it be playing
