    They look great - how do they adjust? Is it two separate pieces of wood?

    ive drilled and tapped the cones and the cups,the cones just screw out.

    ive not done any french polishing for about 16 years so it was nice to do some over the last 2 days. you can see the start of the reddish tint i wanted coming through.

    That is a nice looking piece of wood.
    Coincidentally, I am looking for a similar sized block myself in wood or granite (black colour) to go under my recently purchased Bow ZZ8 CD as well as under two 1210 Mike New turntables.

    I think I need something like 50 cm long and 40 cm wide , from which company did you get this lovely piece of wood from and if you don't mind how much was it, can't spend a fortune alas!

    Seeing those turned feet on this page made me go back and read the entire thread - I see the word lathe and I'm hooked
