Are you preparing for a resin mix? Think I'd leave the Mu25 and do an extra layer?

I did mine out of necessity, only had 2 pieces of Beech ply, and wanted the height. Cut the outside off, and stuck it underneath.

Filled the void with Bentonite mix plus a couple of KG of lead shot I had.

    Bentonite clay= kitty litter.

Added to resin mix. There was some chatter about it on forums a few years ago, I think its at the heart of Cusworth plinths?
Always interested in trying new methods, and this build needed a filler. I could have built solid top and bottom, with air void, but I believe a bit of mass helps.

I haven't heard the Sony in anything else, so can't comment on it vs anything else, its suitably heavy though

Well, clumping cat litter. You can eat it too or make dace masks from it too, but best not let tiddles piss in it first. Lol
    Interesting idea.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Its in all Cush plinths. It's (bentonite) + panzerholz probably going to form the basis of my next plinth for my 301.
