Default Recommendation for SUPER SUPER strong double sided tape.

I was thinking along the lines of carpet tape but if any of you have any ideas I would welcome them.

I find that all the gorilla glue products tend to do what it says on tin
They do a double sided tape too

What do you want to stick, 3M does lots of material specific tapes. I have some 3M tape on 0.5mm foam if that's any good for your needs. Little bit of shear damping when used, great between heavy flat items.

Auto trade type used for attaching badges etc. to cars. It's the best!

Some is foam about 1mm thick, some is just thin.

Thanks lads. I'm experimenting with with tonearm boards on my Lenco 75. I'm making CLD variants. I want the tape to bond the boards to the 75's top plate. I just bought some Gorilla tape.

This stuff is pretty good too, about 1-2mm thick. Whichever you use, you will need to clean and degrease the surfaces thoroughly. I used some Coleman fuel (heptane, no oil in it) when I stuck the number plate back on my car. IPA wasn't enough to remove wax residue.
