“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

I can't comment on that exact Graham Slee stage but I had the opportunity to compare my Croft RIAA to a couple of other stages, one of which was a Gram Amp 2. IMHO there was no competition there to the Croft. of course, the Era Gold is a much more expensive stage so YMMV

Well i should fnally receive my turntable this weekend, so took the plunge and ordered a tisbury domino.
If something else pops up in the next couple of weeks i might try a comparison knowing i can return tne tisbury.

I should have gone for a croft on pinkfish recently but was too slow and i have run out of space on tne shelf for anything full size.
But i’m expecting the tisbury to be quite good, so not really a problem.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.
