Thank you Ivo. I like vintage a lot. Modern gear is not that pretty for me

I much prefer vintage hifi , it comes from a era when companies were proud of the items made , Modern hifi is designed by accountants , Max prophet minimum cost ( Bulk / volume made items that is )

Yes, I find some special charm in vintage gear and media (cassette tapes, reel tapes, records).
But I use HiRes files and DACs as well. It's less charm but more convenience. And the sound quality could be impressive (which might be valid for vintage too).
Here is some past and present synergy in my kitchen

But vintage or not if the music can put a smile on your face - everything is OK.

Here is my first vintage project - some Technics bits (I still have it)

This is the system just before starting the Pioneer project.

Love that tape deck. Designed back when they knew how to make hi-fi look cool. Not as cool as the Pioneer kit you have though. I really want that rig
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
