Default Philips TDA1541 S2 Chip (or CD player with one installed)

As above, preferably a Taiwanese made one, preferably Double Crown

An S1 chip would also be ok

Ooh keep us posted on developments. If my CD94mk2 with 2xS1 chips is anything to go by, it should be immense.

Its more a curious upgrade, i have the R1 chip now, and wanted to try the S2 or even the S1, but the R1 sounds mega as it is!

I've got a stock of unused genuine S1.

The R1 is a reduced spec version.

Lovely chips, very valve sounding. I recently sold a sugden CDP with an s1. Still have an Orelle CDP with an S1. Both single crowns.

Is it possible to easily wire up an exisiting CDP to accept an input?
