Just heard Burt Reynolds died of a heart attack. Very sad news, I was a big fan. A great actor who did comic parts so well and could do serious roles too. 'Deliverance' is one of my favourite films.

the partnership with Dom DeLuise was always very good,you can see this in the out takes from the cannonball run,an often overlooked film with those two is 'the end' worth checking out if you've not seen it.

Sad news that. As a kid in the 80s films like Smokey & the Bandit, Hooper and Cannonball Run were simply part of growing up.
Its worth watching Burt in Boogie Nights, Apparently he didn't get on with the director or particularly like the film itself but both the film and him are very very good. Great sound track too as well.
