The AMG GIRO is lovely and werner was quite a genius with his designs, Brinkman owes alot to him. The price of the new grahams are very expensive the Phantom 3 is around £6500 and the Elite 12" £12300 with the very recent price increases serious investments. I am playing with a Kodo Beat turntable kindly loaned to me its very good reminds me of a grown up SP10 MK3 but really have to resist otherwise I will be in serious trouble.

    Marco.
I’m sure it sounds fab too, but what’s with the big lumps at the side?! I personally think they’re worse than rosewood!

I heard Paul's Pioneer TT last weekend & mighty fine it sounded on one of my favourite LP's, Ella & Louis. It is in fantastic condition & while the design is not to my taste I can appreciate it for what it is, & the build quality is simply superb. It is bloody big too!

I like the look of the standard plinthed Lenco 75s too - I have a Leak version which I think looks just on the right side of industrial

    Can sound good too!

I like how Lenco's sound, but not keen on their looks. Those skinny/flimsy little platters don't do it for me. I like big fat, chunky bastards, like on your Orbe!!

The Lenco platter is not skinny or flimsy, think ICEBERG small bit on top and loads more down below. They are very substantial beasts and weigh about 3.7kg
