Default FS: Rega RS3 Speakers - Hardly Run In

I am selling my Rega RS3 speakers to fund another hifi purchase

I used these RS3's with just 8w of 300b valve amp so they have not been driven hard at all

I actually doubt whether they are run in yet as I only used them for a few weeks

I only stopped using them as a pair of Living Voice speakers came up for sale and I wanted to try out the LV's

They are in near perfect condition and come with their original box and packaging. These were the latest version of the RS3's so have the 'bullet' type foot and are complete with their original spikes

I would prefer these to be collected from Portsmouth but I might look into posting them

I am looking for £250 for them which is a lot less than I paid for them and they are like buying brand new speakers to be honest. Any postage will obviously be extra

    Side firing bass....

    Side firing bass speaker.....

Looks like a bona fide bargain for a lucky buyer. Kinda wish I was looking for a pair of speakers, very nice. Glws, shouldn't need much luck though.

£250's a bloody good price for these, especially if they're later ones!

    Free bump on me!

My experience of them is that the midrange is superbly natural, 'intimate' and clear, the bass is fine if care is taken with positioning and the top sparkles pleasantly as you'd expect from a vinyl-based manufacturer - they're fine with good digital too and aren't amp fussy in my experience...
