    Tricky one that.

It's bi-syllabic: vrongka sathta. The "r" is trilled and the "th" is a bit like an exhalation of breath from the back of the throat with the tongue raised. The final "a" is pronounced as the a in 'any'.

Although I think I know how it should be pronounced, I can't do it.

    That's why I selected it!

Del can pronounce it pretty well, but I also struggle with it. Here's how 'Pontcysyllte' is pronounced, which is similar. It's the last bit that's the challenge (watch until the end of the video):

It's pretty cool at 10C and It's still pouring, but the sky is getting a bit lighter, so maybe it'll ease off. Hope I can get to walk the dog today.

First 'near frost' overnight for us here; dropped to 2.4ºC!

Woke up at 7am and it was just 6ºC; it's around 12ºC now and lovely/fresh and autumnal; a few small showers but lots of autumn sun!

I would swear that I’ve never seen this before in September ( in U.K. )

Word of advice: Don't bother with "No Nonsense" de-icer from Screwfix - I sprayed some onto my windscreen last winter and it froze on contact. Made clearing the screen 10 times harder.

I was going to report that it was only 3 deg this morning in Chorley-on-Sea, but it's hardly newsworthy now.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

    KICKSTARTER: ENABLING SCAMMERS SINCE 2009
