How far are they apart, Robin (measure it)? They do look rather close together (and also too close to the equipment itself), certainly in order to perform optimally.
Is the other end of the room any wider? If so, it will almost certainly sound better employing the use of longer speaker cables, and putting your speakers there, if in the end you can get them further apart. What is it, an attic room?

Marco, yes it’s an attic room, and that is really the only place will try and move them further apart I have moved slightly and they are 1 metre apart might be able to push that to 1.5.How far are they apart, Robin (measure it)?
