I use one of these, which can usually be adjusted with an internal variable resistor. Just be careful to label it. I blew a circuit which needed 12v when I had it set to 15v.

I use a sealed lead acid 12v battery to power my caiman seg, you cannot get a cleaner dc supply, works a treat!

Would something like this do the job?

Or this?

Yes, either one. I put the battery into a ventilated enclosure with a change over switch to disconnect the battery from the dac during charging. A 2Ah battery easily lasts me a month between charging, but that all depends on usage of course, best practice is not to run lead acids completely flat.
