Default PSU Options for an Elite Rock MK2

I am looking for suggestions for a stand alone PSU for my Rock.
Whilst I know that the ideal ones are either the Excaliber or Merlin, these particular units are either as rare as hens teeth secondhand, or come at an offensive price.
Are there any other good alternatives at sensible prices?
Money may not make me happy.
But it helps me afford the kind of misery I prefer.

The PSU would not be so much for sonic performance as convenience. Having got used to speed switching and absolute speed tweaking with my original OL deck it's something I'd like to retain. As for smoothing/conditioning the input power that is already taken care of via a Power Inspired AG500 which I use on all source components + the pre.

Pm meldano on diy audio. He does a 24v motor controller that works with rega motor, usb control, phase to 0.1 degree frequency to 0.01hz.

All in cost about 300 in a nice case with a new motor from regs.
Kuzma Stabi/S 12", (LP12-bastard) DC motor and optical tacho psu, Benz LP, Paradise (phonostage). MB-Pro, Brooklyn dac and psu, Bruno Putzeys balanced pre, mod86p dual mono amps, Yamaha NS1000m

I added a Heed Orbit PSU to my Rock a couple of years back. At the same time I also had cause to change the VTA since I use a Benz Micro MC cart and they have a habit of riding very low. Anyway, from that point my system's performance on records shifted to the same league as CD, different character of course but "as good". I'm not sure which change made the most impact but with the added convenience of not having to change the speed manually I'm keeping the Heed for good.

    Pete
