I guess they could try mounting wind turbines on car roofs. That could work.

The faster you drive, the more charge you could build up!

    That's not a bad idea.

We will sell it to the Chinese, who will then mix it with powdered panda teeth to make an aphrodisiac. Pandas are bad for the environment anyway, with all that farting. Thankyou China, for helping save the planet, and your efforts to reduce the pollution of our oceans by whale shit are greatly appreciated.

When driving through northern France (which has A LOT of wind turbines) a couple of years ago, Mrs P asked what happens when there is no wind.

"They have a battery inside that keeps them spinning".

"Well some of them aren't spinning at all".

"Obviously their batteries are flat, but they'll recharge when the wind comes back".

Can't believe I got away with that one. But while I felt like a smarty-pants at the time, for all I know the above is correct! I may possess more technical knowledge than Anita, but the difference is marginal.

As far as my 'tradesmens entrance' goes, she already knows the answer - THERE IS ALWAYS WIND.

I've 'passed' a few interesting 'patisseries' today, some were even slightly croissant-shaped, although somewhat browner....
