Good post, Steve. I concur entirely! As for this:
Clearly, those are just ignorant, spoiled brats, who've been brought up with no manners, and also no respect for public property. No-one's kids I know would behave like that, as they'd know better.
And if I'd done that when I was at school, it'd have been reported to the headmaster, which would've resulted in the belt or possible suspension - then once my dad subsequently found out, as the headmaster would've informed him, I'd get another belt/thick ear from him (probably harder, too), particularly as he'd have been made to pay the damage, and I'd never have dared do it again!
There's no discipline with kids these days, either at home or in school, and too much mollycoddling/pandering to their ever-growing more ridiculous whims - and *that* is one the biggest problems... As for 'school runs', they should only be allowed if kids live a certain distance from their school. If they're close enough to walk, then they should get off their fat backsides and do so.
It might go some way to helping tackle the current obesity epidemic!!
